- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add almond milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in vegan chocolate chips.
- Pour batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly, then roll it gently while warm. Let it cool completely before frosting.
Notes
- Use a clean kitchen towel to help roll the cake.
- For extra flavor, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
