Ingredients

  • 6 cups sourdough bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread sourdough cubes on a baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until soft.
  5. Stir in sage, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Combine toasted bread with vegetable mixture in a bowl.
  7. Pour vegetable broth over the mixture and toss.
  8. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
