Description

A flavorful turkey roast glazed with sweet maple syrup.


Ingredients

  • 1 turkey roast (45 lbs)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rub turkey roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  3. Place roast in a roasting pan and cook for 1 hour.
  4. Brush maple syrup over the roast.
  5. Cook for another 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
