Description

A simple and healthy vegan banana bread recipe that’s moist and flavorful.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
  • You can add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
