Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled)

  • 1.5 cups fresh lemon juice (from 68 lemons)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)

  • 6 cups cold water

  • Ice cubes (for serving)

  • Lemon slices & whole strawberries (garnish)


Instructions

  1. Make simple syrup: Heat 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water until fully dissolved. Cool completely.

  2. Puree strawberries: Blend hulled strawberries with a splash of water until smooth. Strain through fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.

  3. Combine all: Mix strawberry puree, cooled simple syrup, lemon juice, and 6 cups cold water in large pitcher. Stir well.

  4. Chill: Refrigerate 1 hour (or add ice immediately).

  5. Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with lemon slices and strawberries.

Notes

  • For sparkling: Use club soda instead of still water

  • Low-sugar: Swap sugar for honey/stevia (½ cup)

  • Store: Fridge 3-5 days, stir before serving
