Description

Soft and buttery cinnamon snowball cookies dusted with powdered sugar for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add flour, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
  7. Cool completely and roll again in powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/2 tsp nutmeg to the dough.
  • Let cookies cool slightly before the first sugar dusting.
