Description

A sweet and tangy apple cranberry chutney that pairs well with meats, cheeses, or as a spread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, apples, sugar, vinegar, water, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust sugar to taste if cranberries are too tart.
